This is a cat box. We put a cat door through the bathroom wall, installed an enclosure for the litter box in a closet in the garage on the other side of the wall, then installed a motion light that also triggered a fan in the box, and a door on the garage side for cleaning it out. (Click!)

This is the reading loft we put in a house we built.
We converted this basement into an apartment and didn't have room under the beam, so we created this bar there with a hammered copper surface.
We created this oak library ladder and mounts to access the reading loft.
